I build production systems across frontend architecture, backend services, event-driven infrastructure and technical delivery.
Four years in, most of that time has gone into systems that have to keep working after the demo: a POS platform that can't drop an order mid-service, a trading dashboard that can't lag behind the market, a field-service app that has to make sense to a technician standing in someone's kitchen. I lead a team of nine at RedoQ, and outside of that I build small, deliberately overengineered open-source tools — a Git simulator, a toy programming language — because internals are the fastest way to actually understand a system.

RedoQ
Own the frontend architecture of Kuick.com (DineOrder), a multi-tenant SaaS & POS platform for the F&B industry, and lead a nine-person engineering team across delivery, consultancy and production support.
- Own full frontend architecture of a multi-tenant SaaS & POS platform used daily by F&B businesses
- Backend engineer on the Kuick Studio API Builder, built from scratch on Node.js and SQL
- Design modular APIs and event-driven pipelines on Pusher, RabbitMQ and Kafka
- Lead and mentor a team of nine engineers across delivery, consultancy, features and bug triage
- Deploy and scale containerised services on Docker and AWS
Phlo Systems
Built a risk-management and hedging platform for commodities & futures trading on .NET Core and React/TypeScript, with a real-time notification layer running on SignalR and Azure.
- Architected a real-time notification engine on SignalR and Azure Communication Services, decoupled into its own service to remove a bottleneck from the main API
- Resolved critical slow-query performance issues through join optimisation and lookup tables
- Built fault-tolerant reporting pipelines on Azure Functions for market-data analytics
- Led the migration from React 16 to 18 and .NET Core 6 to 8
Quantorix Technology
Engineered hedging algorithms and trading software for commodities and futures; cut P90 API latency by roughly 70% and scaled a real-time trading service from a single region to 114 countries.
- Cut API response time from ~500ms to ~150ms at P90 while handling 60 requests/second, by replacing the repository-pattern data layer with optimised controllers
- Scaled a real-time trading service from one region to 114 countries using SignalR and backpressure handling, with no downtime during the rollout
- Integrated NLP-powered search over the ELK stack to improve intent recognition on trading queries
IEMLabs
Built IEMSecure, a microservices-based plagiarism checker with an NLP-driven inverted index, and ran technical training sessions on web development for students.
- Built a plagiarism-detection platform on React, Node.js, MongoDB and FastAPI across a microservices architecture
- Implemented an NLP inverted index to improve search relevancy across multiple data sources
- Integrated Stripe and social OAuth; managed AWS infrastructure and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines

Accepts text input, scrapes the web with Cheerio for matching sources, and surfaces the closest links found — an early search/NLP utility.
Multi-Intent NLP Search
A search-intent classifier built on byte-pair tokenization, Word2Vec embeddings and an LSTM sequence model — the experiment behind the NLP search work at Quantorix.

A lightweight Node.js package for scheduling and managing recurring background tasks.
node-in-memory-cache
An in-memory cache for Node.js with TTL support and key-based eviction, for when a Redis instance is overhead.
