Kuick / DineOrder
Frontend architecture for a multi-tenant F&B SaaS & POS platform
Problem
Kuick.com (DineOrder) is a POS and SaaS platform used daily by food & beverage businesses — order-taking, kitchen display, and analytics all need to reflect the same order state in real time, for many tenants at once.
Engineering challenge
The hard part isn't any single screen, it's keeping order state consistent across a kitchen display, a front-of-house app and an analytics layer that all update from the same event stream, without the request/response API becoming the bottleneck during order spikes.
What I built
- Own the full frontend architecture of the multi-tenant SaaS & POS platform
- Backend engineer on Kuick Studio, an internal API builder used to scaffold and ship modular services faster across delivery teams
- Design event-driven pipelines on Pusher, RabbitMQ and Kafka so order-state updates don't compete with the main request path
- Lead and mentor a nine-person engineering team across delivery, consultancy and production support
How it works
Order placed→Event bus — Kafka / RabbitMQ / Pusher→Kitchen display + POS + analytics
Outcome
In daily production use across F&B businesses, with a nine-person team shipping features, consultancy work and production fixes against it continuously.
